The Surface
of EUROPa

Hyrdrothermal
Vents
And dotting the ocean floor, you’ll discover hydrothermal vents, providing energy to heat the water… and support the Minos and the rest of an exotic ecosystem.
Ocean
Floor
Another 40 to 100 miles (60 to 150 kilometers) down, you reach the ocean floor. At the bottom of the largest water ocean in our solar system, the deep sea pressure is likely to be only a bit more than found on Earth's deepest ocean trenches, owing to the lower gravity of Europa.
